Since our foundation in 1960, we have been engaged in the construction and maintenance of manufacturing facilities for our parent company (Toray). Meanwhile, we have also developed external customers both in Japan and overseas by providing highly optimized services and expertise in various business fields.

Our current business focus consists of two "E"s - Engineering and Electronics, and from large-scale plant construction to LCD or semiconductor-related small equipment, we utilize our human resources (our major assets) and expertise to undertake our business endeavors under the banner of "E & E Solutions." The following is a brief introduction.

Firstly, our Engineering business comprises, apart from Toray in-house business, "Plant Construction" including various polymerization or chemical plants such as fibers, plastics, pharmaceutical and electronics or IT related materials, "Industrial Machinery and System" such as film making machinery, coaters, slitters and other automated devices and "3D CAE" (Computer Aided Engineering), software for mold injections, with which we provide solutions for various industrial fields.

Secondly, our Electronics business lineup includes the "Toray Slit Nozzle Coater" (a resist coating device for LCDs), which boasts the top class market share in the world, fine patterning systems, high-speed/high-accuracy bonders for LCDs and semiconductors, “ID title marking systems, inspection equipment, industrial print engines and systems, and measuring and control equipment. With numerous "No.1" or "Only 1" -type products, we enjoy a good reputation among our customers worldwide.

As technology continues to progress, customer needs become more and more diverse and complicated. As we strive to ensure the capacity to meet them, we will continue to develop our human resources, create new expertise, and as a pioneer enterprise of the Toray Group, embody the company philosophy of "Contributing to Society through Enterprise."
