Donation of Large Monitor to Facility for People with Disabilities in Suwon-si, South Korea
Toray Engineering Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO & COO: Takashi Iwade, hereinafter “Toray Engineering”) announces that on November 18, TEK Korea Co., Ltd (Head office: Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, CEO: An Young Bok, hereinafter “TEK Korea”)—its subsidiary in South Korea—has donated a large monitor to Badaui Byeol, a welfare facility for people with disabilities in Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. This is part of TEK Korea’s activities for the local community.
TEK Korea had been conducting regional cleanup on a yearly basis as part of its CSR activities. This year, due to the spread of COVID-19, the company decided to forego this activity, which gathers many employees at one go, and instead donate a large monitor based on a request received from the facility for people with disabilities.
The Toray Engineering Group positions CSR as an important management issue, and will actively participate in society and local communities as a good corporate citizen and contribute toward their development.
