Lecture in “Introduction to Data Science” at Niigata University

On July 17, two of our engineers delivered part of a lecture in the graduate-level course “Introduction to Data Science” offered by Niigata University (Nishi-ku, Niigata City).

Under the theme of “Development of Advanced Semiconductors Supporting a Data-Driven Society,” the lecture introduced trends in advanced semiconductors, which form the foundation of today's digital society, as well as our technologies that support semiconductor manufacturing. The lecture also highlighted how data science is utilized in equipment development, including AI-based image analysis and data analytics technologies. Following the lecture, students asked questions about semiconductor technologies and AI applications.
