Toray Engineering Co., Ltd. (head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO & COO: Takashi Iwade; hereinafter "Toray Engineering") will exhibit at The Battery Show North America 2026, one of the world’s largest battery industry exhibitions, held in Detroit, Michigan, from October 13 to 15, 2026.

At the exhibition, Toray Engineering will showcase its latest technologies for lithium-ion battery (LIB) electrode manufacturing, including high-precision coating technology and "Smart Coater^®", which automatically controls coating quality using inspection data to achieve uniform and stable coating performance.
Toray Engineering will also present a broad range of technologies that meet the demanding quality requirements for high-performance and next generation batteries, including SCADA solutions for production data visualization and analysis, quality control, and predictive maintenance, as well as highly efficient drying technologies that help reduce energy consumption. These technologies are designed to utilize accumulated production data and AI to support optimized equipment operations.
Visitors can also experience life-size 3D models of large-scale equipment and interactive operation training through VR.
